What we're doing about COVID-19

Fostering a safe and happy community is at the heart of what we do. That’s why we’ve put the health and wellbeing of our residents, staff and visitors at the forefront of our response to the current coronavirus situation. Following the advice of health authorities and government, we have reopened our buildings for viewings and lettings but have put measures in place to protect everyone, which include:

  • Virtual viewings in the first instance
  • Protective screens at the reception desks
  • Social distancing signage
  • A limit of one household at a time using a lift
  • Hand sanitiser in multiple locations
  • Our on-site team will also be wearing masks and gloves where required when dealing with contractors and the general public.

We will continue to adapt our service to meet government guidelines. Thank you to everyone who has taken care to follow the measures we’ve put in place so far. Please continue to observe the new signs and instructions so that we can continue to reduce the spread of coronavirus and keep our community as safe as possible. What pets am I allowed?

Our flats are pet friendly however we do have a few restrictions on what type, sizes and breeds can stay with us. As a general guide, small pets are ok, but medium and large ones may not be. Your rent will be slightly higher with each pet, this is to cover cleaning and general wear and tear, so if you’d like to have two pets in your apartment, this will be a higher rent than just a single pet.

Is there car parking?

Yes, there are 147 parking spaces available for residents over two stories of underground secure parking which can be rented at a small additional amount.

Do the flats have windows you can open?

All the apartments have doors which open onto beautifully detailed safety grates to allow fresh air to come into your apartment.

When will the gym open and will you have to pay?

No! Our resident’s onsite gym is due to be completed in 2020, so all residents can use the gym at a time that suits them with no extra cost. There will be some small charges for specific facilities like the spa where you will need to book in.

When will I be able to move in?

We will be ready to welcome residents from July.

How do I book a viewing?

Do the apartments come furnished?

Our apartments can come with a bespoke furniture collection included in your rental agreement at no extra cost. We’ve thought of every detail – from the sustainable sofa fabric, to the king-sized sumptuous beds in every bedroom – every piece has been crafted with our new residents in mind. Or you can choose an unfurnished apartment where you can bring your own furniture if you prefer. The choice is yours.

Is Wifi included?

Free high speed virgin broadband comes set up and free in every apartment, wiring is also in place for BT, Hyperoptic broadband and SKY TV.

Is there cycle storage?

There is secure onsite cycle storage which is free for all residents on a first come first served basis

Is there a residents' lounge?

Yes, our residents lounge is located on the ground floor and has free unlimited coffee, super fast Wifi so its great for catching up on work, entertaining friends or just to chill out.

Will there be resident events?

Yes, we will provide regular resident events from wine and cheese tasting, quiz nights and summer BBQs to book clubs and Yoga we have something for everyone. Our ultimate aim is to ensure you to feel part of our community - pick and choose the events you want to come to.

Will there be sufficient parking?

We’ve got 147 parking spaces available for residents over two stories of underground secure parking. There will be a small charge to rent your space, but there’s plenty to go around.

What other services will you offer?

We’ve already planned an amazing selection which will connect you with trusted professionals like Manchesters most talented private chefs. For those of you with pets, we know your furry friends get lonely, so we've lined up a special home checking/walking service so you can rest easy that your Very Important Pet is happy at home. If you have any suggestions, please fire them over and we’ll try and accommodate them. We’re here to listen to our residents and want to hear your thoughts on what you actually want. Keep tuned in to our Instagram feed and we’ll be announcing new services over the next few weeks.

Will there be 24-hour concierge?

There will be someone on site 24/7 so we’re here whenever you need us - helping arrange everything from deliveries to residents' events as well as coordinating maintenance and repairs.

Will the amenities space be open to the public?

The amenity space within West Tower is for residents’ only, however if you want to bring friends over that’s OK. Once the incredible amenities next door launch in 2020, residents will enjoy free access to most things. They include a sports hall with tennis court, full length swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, cinema, roof-top garden, roof-top bar, beauty rooms, private dining and a business centre with seminar rooms. The amenities will also be open to a select number of paying members outside of Deansgate Square.

What will the pool be like?

With floor-to-ceiling windows and views of the city’s sunrise, there will be no better place to enjoy a morning swim in our full length swimming pool.

What spec are the apartments?

All the specifications throughout West Tower are very high-end and are consistent throughout - our apartment types do not vary in quality.

All apartments have an impressive open-plan kitchen and living space, featuring engineered oak floors and floor-to-ceiling windows. Most apartments have a kitchen island or breakfast bar so you can socialise whilst cooking.

The kitchens have integrated NEFF appliances including a double oven with microwave, CDA water cooler dishwasher and soft-close cabinets. Some apartments also have an integrated wine fridge.

All the bedrooms have a king-sized sumptuous bed and many are en-suite. All have floor-to-ceiling windows, built-in wardrobes and stylish carpets. Bathrooms feature ceramic designer tiles, rain shower, bath and under-cabinet motion sensor lighting.

Every apartment has vertical black-out blinds, electric heating, washing machine/dryer, secure fob entry system and intercom connected to reception with video messaging service. Virgin broadband is included in the rent, but wiring is also in place for BT, Hyperoptic and SKY TV.

What sort of contracts will be available?

Stay as long as you want, from 6 months to 5 years. You decide your contract's length. And we only ask for two months' notice before you vacate.

Is there an initial deposit?

We ask for a dilapidation deposit of one month's rent when you move in (The dilapidation deposit is refunded on condition of the property being returned in a good condition at the end of you tenancy).

Is there public transport accessible close by?

Yes, we’re right next door to Deansgate station and a 7-minute walk to the centre of the city. You couldn’t be closer to the city’s finest bars, restaurants, shops and galleries.
